About Visions / René Märtin
#1
“... takes us to the land of silent despair, the sorrow of lovers clutching the remnants of their lost love.
Inhabiting
the twilight zone between to-gether-forever and never-never-ever, the ordinary takes on the mantle of the
extraordinary as they take their leave.
The milk-bottles, the bed all be-come unbearably dear as the couple

“(...) The stories – or poems? – by René Märtin are effecting reserved and mysterious.
He let his audience
have a look into a grey-blue land, shown in little, often every-day stories.
The sea is important, it appears
constantly in the pieces, named ‘Three Days in Dublin’ or ‘The Tears of the Last Years’.
Or ‘The Fish’: A
first-person narrator complains about, that a ‘She’ fried him fish. How heartless, because his brother sunk with
the trawler ‘Poseidon II’. (...)”

"Prima Lesung gewesen!
Spass gemacht, da zu sitzen, zu sehen, zu hören.
Professionelle Sache, irgendwie.
Beinahe so erwartet, erhofft.
Trotzdem keine leeren Formen, hohle Attitüde.
Sondern Inhalt, Feeling, Message.
Musik gute Ergänzung. Kompatible Bereiche.
Interesse an Tonträger hiermit ernsthaft angemeldet!
Auch Location sehr angenehm.
Und schön, alle Leute zu treffen.
Da zu sitzen, zu reden, zu trinken."
